What if you could decide the
neighborhood you want to live in, decide the schools that your
children go to, enjoy time with your friends and family, and at the
same time watch your income double or triple each year? This is
the lifestyle we have and we can show you how to enjoy a better
lifestyle for you and your family.

Be very careful! You have a choice. You can leave this blog or you can find out how ordinary people are taking control of their financial futures and earning an extra $1000-$6000 per month
part time working from their homes. You are probably saying,
“this is to good to be true.” Well it is true and we can show you
thousands of people who are doing it and loving their lives. We
will teach you step by step and help you on your Pathway to
success.

Before we got started with this opportunity we barely got to see
each other. I was a retail store manager so I worked all the time. I
felt like a slave. Every once in a while we would get the same
days off from our J.O.B. (journey of the broke). That did not
happen very often so we would always do something special. I
remember one time we went down to the beach. We were driving
along looking at the houses and we thought to ourselves, how
could people afford these million dollar homes? How did these
people become so successful? Was it their education? Did they
inherit lots of money, or was it just luck?

I always wanted to know but never had the guts to go up and ask
one of them. Until, I reached the day that changed my life. I was
working over 60 hours a week. I was stressed out. I was gaining
weight and my health was starting to deteriorate. I had absolutely
no energy. (I had a customer of mine that used to come into my
store and spend thousands and thousands of dollars.) He was in his
early 50’s, was in great shape and had a healthy happy glow about
him.

He was living a dream life!

Not only was he wealthy but he had an incredible lifestyle. He
used to come into my store when most normal people were
working and spent hours shopping. When I would ask him “what
had he been up to lately?” He would reply “playing golf, traveling
and having fun.” I always wondered what this guy did to become
so wealthy and so happy. Than one day my assistant manager at
the store asked him how he became wealthy and that was the day
that changed my life! What I found out was he just knew more
than I did and he had a proven plan for success.

Knowledge was the key to his success. If you want to become
wealthy you need to study wealth. This is your opportunity to
learn how ordinary people have built extraordinary incomes. Are
you ready to learn? Great! So was I that day and it changed my
life. I had been working at the same place for eight years and I
found myself $20,000 in credit card debt and nine months behind
on my property taxes and I knew that my plan toward financial
independence was not working.

I would have to come up with $50,000 just to get to broke and I
didn’t want to be broke. I wanted a nice home and nice cars to
drive. I wanted to be able to give my family the things they
wanted. I wanted to be able to send my children to the schools I
chose. I wanted more freedom. I didn’t want to end up like some
of the people I worked with, two in particular, who were in there
60’s and still working because they could not afford to retire. Here
I was their boss at age 26 telling them what to do and also making
more money. I did not want to end up like them.

That day my mentor showed me copies of his checks and at that
point he had been in business for two years and was making
$18,000 per month. I thought if he could make that than I could
make the $500-$1000 a month part time that I so desperately
needed. I got started and our first month we made $1481profit.
The second month $3,300 and a light bulb went off. I was making
more money part time than I was at my full time job. By the
eighth month my wife and I were out of debt and doing the
business full time. We are now earning a nice six-figure income
from home.

I am grateful that I was wise enough to realize that if he could doit and earn checks like that- WE COULD TOO! Alot of people ask us the secret to our success. Why we continue to live successful lives while others are not. At this point to give you the secret I would literally have to right a book as there are many reasons for our success. Today I will cover a few.

Alot of this is common sense and easy to do but what is easy to do is also easy not to do.

Today the Topic is Advertising equals Breathing.

To your business Advertising equals Breathing. Stop even for a short while and your business will die. I have seen many people fail. Why you may ask? I wish I had an answer for you but that my friend is a mystery of life.

Here are 10 secrets that will make a huge difference.

1. Persistance - We advertised and continued our wheel slots without fail every run.
2. Tenacity - We never quit as tough as it was at times we never stopped our advertising.
3. Consistancy - Day in and day out. Even when we were on vacation. Because we knew we would be out of action for a spell we would bump up our ads. While others would stop their ads we would double them.
4. Massive Action - We advertised more than anyone else we new. More than our upline and more than our downline.
5. Fun - Although it took alot of work we have a blast! We make everything we do fun, simple, and magical. It is all in your state of mind.
6. Retail - We have always had a large customer base and strive to pay all of our house bills still to this day with retail sales.
7. Recruiting - We focus on doing the numbers so that we can sponsor 10 a month. It is a numbers game. That is how we built a huge royalty check. Our forever income.
8. DMO - Daily method of operation. Because we keep track of what we do success is easy. Once you have found your plan and DMO all you have to do is execute that and achieve incredible results.
9. Distractions - We learned to discipline our distractions. Life goes on. Wether you start a business or not. The key is to not let distractions keep you from doing what you need to do everyday.
10. Advertise - Don't quit your advertising. Advertising equals Breathing.

Lee Johnson
The Work at Home Tycoon

8 Keys to Succcess

What It Takes To Reach Your Potential
by Lee Johnson

#1 is PASSION
#2 is THE ABILITY TO TAKE A RISK
#3 is HIGH SELF-ESTEEM
#4 is PERSISTENCE
#5 is BEING NICE TO WORK WITH
#6 is WHO YOU KNOW
#7 is BECOME A MASTER OF YOUR TRADE

#8 is TALENT

Talent is the last thing you need. You have to have some of it, but you do not need a lot. Too much talent is often a handicap. Things come too easily and there is little incentive to push, to make use of the talent.

I know highly talented distributors who refuse to practice the daily disciplines. Distributors who are so arrogant no one wants them around, distributors whose egos are so inflated they are a pain to deal with, and others who are so impatient at getting what they want, they never master anything and, therefore, never do succeed. I prefer to surround myself with positive, successful people, people who are enthusiastic even though they have yet to find or develop what talent they may have.

A talent is the natural ability to do something extraordinary. We all can do a lot, but some people have been gifted with talents that go beyond what others can do. What are you talented at? Do you know?

Success is not a matter of being talented. Notice it is last on the list. A little bit of talent, combined with the other seven keys, will lead you to success. I know many people who are talented, but lack one or more of the other seven keys and they fail to succeed.
Do not blame your lack of success on your lack of talent. It will be your attitude that will determine your altitude, not your talent or lack thereof.

8 Keys to Succcess

What It Takes To Reach Your Potential
by Lee Johnson

#1 is PASSION
#2 is THE ABILITY TO TAKE A RISK
#3 is HIGH SELF-ESTEEM
#4 is PERSISTENCE
#5 is BEING NICE TO WORK WITH
#6 is WHO YOU KNOW

#7 is BECOME A MASTER OF YOUR TRADE

Be the best that you can possibly be every day, develop your self as a leader. Practice and teach and help others to see their own greatness. Become a master of your trade and stay in for the long haul. Success is a journey not a destination. Don’t quit before the miracle happens and give your self a break. It takes years to build a successful business and even longer to master your trade. After 11 years of work I continue to learn and have break throughs in development on a regular basis. The key development is to focus on getting 1% better everyday and be patiently patient. Have belief in yourself and know that what you think about you will bring about and remember whatever you belive you can achieve. Remain positive and become a master of your trade.

8 Keys to Success

What It Takes To Reach Your Potential
by Lee Johnson

#1 is PASSION
#2 is THE ABILITY TO TAKE A RISK
#3 is HIGH SELF-ESTEEM
#4 is PERSISTENCE
#5 is BEING NICE TO WORK WITH

#6 is WHO YOU KNOW

If you are nice to work with, the next will follow. Because it will be other people who will help you acquire the skills to succeed, help you discover and develop your vision, give you a lasting success. If you help enough people get what they want you will get all that you want.

People want to help others, but only if they show a willingness to work, to contribute and are nice to have around. People want to have positive, enthusiastic people around, people who will solve problems, not create them.

Think about it? Are you a problem solver or a drama queen? Are you the first to celebrate what’s happening or the first to complain when things are not? When production is down are you the first to step up and do more and rally the team or are you the complainer that starts pointing fingers?????

Are you a team player? Do you bring value to the organization? If not when is NOW the right time to start???

Be a team player, be a problem solver, and most importantly, be NICE.

8 Keys to Success

What It Takes To Reach Your Potential
by Lee Johnson

#1 is PASSION
#2 is THE ABILITY TO TAKE A RISK

#3 is HIGH SELF-ESTEEM

When I first started my business I had a very LOW self-esteem but through personal development and time I now have a very HIGH self-esteem. This is an inside job and if you are like I was there is definitely hope. If I can do it and succeed so can you.

So the key is to believe in yourself. Think well of yourself. You are not boastful or egotistical, but do have an honest understanding of your talents, handicaps and are working toward getting better. Jim Rohn really helped and there is a link at the bottom of the blog to his free newsletter.

#4 is PERSISTENCE

Persistence is definitely one of the 8 keys to success. I am shocked at how many people throw in the towel after a few months or better yet never even start. All I can say about this one is that quitters quit. It's what they do.

If you are serious about being your own boss and succeeding in business. Get rid of the words try and focus on the words just do it! The key to success is in the daily disciplines. Try is the battle cry of failure. No doubt about it.

What a major difference there is in the words I'll Try and the words I'll Do.

When your building your financial future how long is long enough? Well, it will take 10 years. I have asked hundreds of accomplished entrepreneurs and distributors how long it took before they felt they had mastered the skills and craft to succeed.

Ten years has been their unanimous answer.

If it takes 10 years, then how do you spend the time wisely? It will take at least two years to acquire 70 percent of the craft you will need to work in your opportunity. It will take another eight years to acquire the next 20 percent of your craft. At 90 percent, you will have mastered your craft, but there is that 10 percent that will take a lifetime to acquire. In the meantime, while working to master your craft you will also be learning and acquiring a personal vision, your ability to see, to observe, to create and discover things. This is difficult at first, but the older you get the wiser and more aware you become. Craft and vision are your tools for success beyond your wildest dreams.

Persistence takes discipline. Discipline is simply doing what you know you need to do, even though you don't feel like doing it. The first thing is knowing what to do. Most people do not know.

You are reading this, so you are interested in finding out what to do. Make a list. Next, find the willpower to do what's on the list. This is the most difficult part of all the keys - finding the positive willpower to do what you know you need to do. We all wrestle with discipline for it does not come easily, not even for the most successful. Just Do it!!!

8 Keys to Success

What It Takes To Reach Your Potential
by Lee Johnson

#1 is PASSION
#2 is THE ABILITY TO TAKE A RISK

I do not know anyone who has succeeded who has not been able to take a risk and then live with the consequence - success or failure. Risk avoidance is a sure way to remain mediocre; being safe does not promote personal growth. Failure or making a mistake is not a bad thing; it's proof you were exploring new ways to do something, and that's better than playing it safe. I have never seen anyone succeed without taking a risk.

We learn from our mistakes, not our successes. Really successful people embrace risk. They can sustain a high level of ambiguity; they do not need to know where they are. They do not mind being lost, for they call it just taking the longer, more interesting way around.

Remember success is a journey not a destination. I've worked with 1000’s of successful people, and trained 1000’s of new business owners and working professionals on their way up and a few on their way down. I've also looked at my own career, talents and motivations along the way, and come to the conclusion that there were eight keys to being successful. I will be posting one per day over the next 8 days in their order of importance.

#1 is PASSION (emotion) feeling very strongly about a subject or person, usually referring to feelings of intense desire and attraction.

Passion is the difference from making a living and making a fortune. It is the difference between success and failure. It is what fires any creative person, something that gets you angry, or something you love and want to share. It's ambition, a vision of the future. That vision leads to setting short-term goals, and long-term goals (I want to be a financially free) and short-term goals, (I want to pay off my debts). I ask everyone I mentor, have you written down your goals? What are your 20 reasons and your top 3? Most people have not. Have you? Reasons are powerful they can affect your life and they can affect your soul.

Do you know where you'd like to be in five years? I do. I have written it down, so that at year's end, or on some quiet sunny day, I can look at what I've written and reflect on where I've been, my progress and where I am going. How far along the path I've come and how far I've got to go. Often, I realize I've reached those goals and need to be dreaming about new horizons, new challenges and new goals. Write down your goals and 20 reasons. They will tell you what to do for the short-term goals? What books to buy, what skills to develop, what seminars to attend Etc.

When you know what you want, and you want it bad enough, you will find a way to get it.

Goals and Goal Setting

The major reason for setting a goal is for what it makes of you to accomplish it. What it makes of you will always be the far greater value than what you get.

When Andrew Carnegie died, they discovered a sheet of paper upon which he had written one of the major goals of his life: to spend the first half of his life accumulating money and to spend the last half of his life giving it all away. And he did!

Some people are disturbed by those tough days because all they have is the days. They haven't designed or described or defined the future.

Goals. There's no telling what you can do when you get inspired by them. There's no telling what you can do when you believe in them. And there's no telling what will happen when you act upon them.

We all need lots of powerful long-range goals to help us past the short-term obstacles.
The ultimate reason for setting goals is to entice you to become the person it takes to achieve them.

Don't set your goals too low. If you don't need much, you won't become much.

If you go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you. If you go to work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you. Whatever good things we build end up building us.

We all have two choices: We can make a living or we can design a life.

Credit Statement to be included in Reprints:
These quotes are by Jim Rohn, America's Foremost Business Philosopher. We want to intelligently decide what our goals will be so that we can actually accomplish them. We want to set the goals that our heart conceives, that our mind believes and that our bodies will carry out.

Let's take a closer look at each of the components of SMART goals:

Specific: Goals are no place to waffle. They are no place to be vague. Ambiguous goals produce ambiguous results. Incomplete goals produce incomplete futures. When we are specific, we harness the power of our dreams and set forces into action that empower us to achieve our goals. We then know exactly what it is we are shooting for. There is no question. As we establish our priorities and manage our time, we do so for a specific goal to achieve the results we expect. There is no wondering or guessing. The future is locked into our minds and we see it - specifically - and that is powerful! Never underestimate just how important it is to have very specific, concrete goals. They act as magnets that draw you toward them! A SMART goal is specific.

Measurable: Always set goals that are measurable. I would say "specifically measurable" to take into account our principle of being specific as well. Our goals should be such that we know when we are advancing and by how much. Whether it is by hours, pounds, dollars or whatever, we should be able to see exactly how we are measuring up as we proceed through the journey of life using our goals. Could you imagine if you didn't measure your goals? You would never know which way you were going or even if you were going anywhere! A SMART goal is measurable.

Attainable: One of the detrimental things that many people do - and they do it with good intentions - is to set goals that are so high they are unattainable. Yes, it is very important to set big goals that cause your heart to soar with excitement, but it is also imperative to make sure that they are attainable. In the next section we talk about being realistic. So what does it mean to be attainable? An attainable goal is one that is both realistic but also attainable in a shorter period of time than what you have to work with. Now when I say attainable, I don't mean easy. Our goals should be set so they are just out of our reach; so they will challenge us to grow as we reach forward to achieve them. After the next paragraph, I will give you an example of a goal that is both attainable and realistic. A SMART goal is attainable.

Realistic: The root word of realistic is "real." A goal has to be something that we can reasonably make "real" or a "reality" in our lives. There are some goals that simply are not realistic. You have to be able to say, even if it is a tremendously stretching goal, that yes, indeed, it is entirely realistic -- that you could make it. You may even have to say that it will take x, y, and z to do it, but if those happen, then it can be done. This is in no way to say it shouldn't be a big goal, but it must be realistic. This is to a great degree, up to the individual. For one person a goal may be realistic, but for another unrealistic. I would encourage you to be very honest with yourself as you do your planning and evaluation. Perhaps it would be good to get a friend to help you (as long as that friend is by nature an optimist and not a pessimist). This can go a long way toward helping you know what is realistic. A SMART goal is realistic.

Example of Attainable and Realistic: Knowing that perhaps you could use a bit of help differentiating attainable and realistic, here is an example: You are overweight and have 150 pounds to lose to get to your proper weight. Is that goal attainable? Yes, considering that you also make it realistic. For example, it isn't realistic to think you can do it in 5 months. 18-24 months would be realistic (with hard work). Thus, losing 150 pounds in 2 years is both attainable and realistic, while losing 150 pounds in 5 months is neither attainable nor realistic.

Time: Every goal should have a timeframe attached to it. I think that life itself is much more productive for us as humans because there is a timeframe connected to it. Could you imagine how much procrastination there would be on earth if people never died? We would never get "around to it." We could always put it off. One of the powerful aspects of a great goal is that it has an end, a time in which you are shooting to accomplish it. You start working on it because you know there is an end. As time goes by you work because you don't want to get behind. As it approaches, you work diligently because you want to meet the deadline. You may even have to break down a big goal into different measured parts time frames. That is okay. Set smaller goals and work them out in their own time. A SMART goal has a timeline.

Be sure to spend some reflection time this week to make sure your goals fit the SMART parameters. Go through the reflection questions below and the action points associated with them. Doing so will put a real engine in your goals and make them charged with power to help you accomplish your dreams.

Is Entrepreneurship For You?

In business, there are no guarantees. There is simply no way to eliminate all the risks associated with starting a small business - but you can improve your chances of success with good planning, preparation, and insight. Start by evaluating your strengths and weaknesses as a potential owner and manager of a small business. Carefully consider each of the following questions:
Are you a self-starter? It will be entirely up to you to develop projects, organize your time, and follow through on details.

How well do you get along with different personalities? Business owners need to develop working relationships with a variety of people including customers, vendors, staff, bankers, and professionals such as lawyers, accountants, or consultants. Can you deal with a demanding client, an unreliable vendor, or a cranky receptionist if your business interests demand it?

How good are you at making decisions? Small business owners are required to make decisions constantly - often quickly, independently, and under pressure.

Do you have the physical and emotional stamina to run a business? Business ownership can be exciting, but it's also a lot of work. Can you face six or seven 12-hour workdays every week?
How well do you plan and organize? Research indicates that poor planning is responsible for most business failures. Good organization of financials, inventory, schedules, and production can help you avoid many pitfalls.

Is your drive strong enough? Running a business can wear you down emotionally. Some business owners burn out quickly from having to carry all the responsibility for the success of their business on their own shoulders. Strong motivation will help you survive slowdowns and periods of burnout.

How will the business affect your family? The first few years of business startup can be hard on family life. It's important for family members to know what to expect and for you to be able to trust that they will support you during this time. There also may be financial difficulties until the business becomes profitable, which could take months or years. You may have to adjust to a lower standard of living or put family assets at risk in the short-term.

Why Small Businesses Fail
Success in business is never automatic. It isn't strictly based on luck - although a little never hurts. It depends primarily on the owner's foresight and organization. Even then, of course, there are no guarantees.

Starting a small business is always risky, and the chance of success is slim. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, roughly 50% of small businesses fail within the first five years.
In his book Small Business Management, Michael Ames gives the following reasons for small business failure:

Lack of experience
Insufficient capital (money)
Poor location
Poor inventory management
Over-investment in fixed assets
Poor credit arrangements
Personal use of business funds
Unexpected growth

More Reasons Why Small Businesses Fail

These figures aren't meant to scare you, but to prepare you for the rocky path ahead. Underestimating the difficulty of starting a business is one of the biggest obstacles entrepreneurs face. However, success can be yours if you are patient, willing to work hard, and take all the necessary steps.

On the Upside
It's true that there are many reasons not to start your own business. But for the right person, the advantages of business ownership far outweigh the risks.
You will be your own boss.
Hard work and long hours directly benefit you, rather than increasing profits for someone else.
Earning and growth potential are far greater.
A new venture is as exciting as it is risky.
Running a business provides endless challenge and opportunities for learning.

The Best Way to Predict the Future is to create it!!!!

CHOOSE SUCCESS!!!!

Vision Statement

I'm Lee Johnson, the founder of the blog.
